Magnetic Inductive Flow Meter
Type: PIT
The insertion probe
A magnetic inductive measurement can be made much more attractive. While the pipeline has to be split open to install an inline device, an insertion probe can be conveniently installed from the side via a weld-in socket. The installation costs for retrofitting into an existing pipeline are lower. In addition, we offer an optional retraction device. This allows the measuring device to be removed without interrupting the process, e.g. to be placed temporarily at another measuring point. A device with many possible applications. The advantages of a classic magnetic-inductive measurement are retained.

Applications
Volume flow measurement of electrically conductive liquids, slurries and pastes without loss of pressure. In an industrial context, consider the following elements when implementing the magnetic inductive flow sensor with the insertion probe:
- In the chemical and petrochemical industry: These sensors are employed to monitor the flow of various conductive liquids, such as chemicals and petrochemicals, to ensure efficient and optimized processes. Insertion probe sensors are useful for troubleshooting and diagnosing flow-related issues within the chemical and petrochemical processes.
- In the oil and gas industry: Insertion probe sensors are employed for measuring the flow rates of hydrocarbons, such as crude oil or natural gas, in large-diameter pipelines where inline installation may be challenging. In the upstream sector, insertion probes are used to monitor the flow rates of oil and gas from production wells, providing crucial data for reservoir management and optimization.
- In the food industry: insertion probe sensors are utilized to measure the flow rates of liquids in beverage production, including water, juices, and other liquid ingredients in soft drinks. These sensors help control the flow rates of liquid ingredients in food processing lines, ensuring accurate mixing and consistent product quality.
- In pharmaceutical production lines, insertion probe sensors help monitor and control the accurate dispensing and filling of liquid pharmaceutical products into containers. insertion probe sensors are used to measure and control the flow rates of liquids during the formulation and manufacturing of pharmaceutical drugs, ensuring precise ingredient dosing.
